Built: Ex MV Smit-Lloyd 112 in 1975 and was used as an “OffShore Supply” vessel in the North Sea and later for Canadian Patrol Frigate Trials Support & General Purpose Auxiliary.  Approximately thirteen vessels of the 100 class were in service around the world.  These ships were almost exclusively employed in supporting the largest semi-submersibles in existence and handling heavy chain moorings.  Several long distance ocean tows were successfully completed with semi-submersible rigs.
