*Note:  The Osprey & Petrel were new tugs built for the Come by Chance Oil Refinery operation and replaced the
refinery’s former tugs, Alice A, Bonnie B11 & Carrol C1.

Work Performed: Provides excort, docking and undocking of oil tankers at the Come by Chance Oil Refinery Terminal.  Assist in the docking and undocking of oil tankers at the Whiffen Head Terminal.  Provides fire-fighting services for operations at the Come By Chance Oil Refinery Terminal.  Provides outside assistance to other vessels at Argentia, Long Harbour and Marystown.  The initial tugs – Bonnie B111 and Carol C1 were 3000 hp tugs while the Alice A was a 4000 hp twin screw tug.  These tugs were replaced with the North Atlantic Osprey and the North Atlantic Petrel which are new Z-Drive 4000 hp vessels.  These vessels were constructed in 1999-2000.
